At Black Ankle Vineyards, we believe that a prime vineyard site marked by rolling hillsides and rocky soils, combined with meticulous care of our vines and land will yield grapes that make wines of depth, nuance and character. In keeping with our farming philosophy, our tasting room is an Eco-friendly building made almost entirely of materials found, grown or harvested from our site. A straw-bale building, it incorporates our wood, straw, clay, stone and even grapevines into its construction. The result is a stunning building that captures the essence of what makes Black Ankle Vineyards and our wines so unique.
